About our Pride
At P.S. 48X – The Joseph Rodman Drake School, we believe that every child deserves a joyful, engaging, and culturally responsive learning experience. Nestled in the heart of Hunts Point, our school is more than a place of learning—it’s a thriving community where students are encouraged to grow as leaders, thinkers, and compassionate citizens.
As a United Community School, we partner closely with families, local organizations, and dedicated staff to support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
